The word πŒΈπŒΉπŒΏπŒ³πŒ°πŒ½πŒ²πŒ°π‚πŒ³πŒΉ (Thiudangardi) means kingdom and is connected to the word thiudans, which is king. This shall not be used for "republic". If there were any word for republic we must wait until someone discovers any source that tell us this word. The goths might have known about the concept of republic since republics existed during the roman era. Until any such word shows up I would suggest "thiudawaihts" instead. --Gadrauhts 11:20, 23 πŒ°πƒπŒ°πŒ½πŒΌπŒ΄πŒ½π‰πŒΈπƒ 2011 (UTC)

What did other comparable languages say to republic? What exactly does thiudawaihts mean? Zylbath 15:08, 23 πŒ°πƒπŒ°πŒ½πŒΌπŒ΄πŒ½π‰πŒΈπƒ 2011 (UTC)
