Currently we have started a project on meta.wikipedia to get an article translated in as many wikipedias as possible every week. The article will be about a subject that usually gets rarely translated and has a lot of links to other subjects. Currently we have no-one to translate in your language. If someone is interested to participate please see: meta:Translation of the week You can also submit articles from your own languages there that you think deserve translation, but have a small chance of it. The articles must not be to short and not to long and have lots of links to possible other articles! en:user:Waerth

Welcome on got.wiki as an adminΒ !! Hope you'll do your work well.
Little question, how did you get sysop so quickΒ ? I had to wait more than a weekΒ !
Also, thanks for your work on MediaWiki space, I simply suggest to let the message as Talk, Log in, Recent changes, etc ... in latin alphabet, because I can't do any "latin alphabet version" as for other articles ( πŒ½πŒ°πŒΏπ‚π…πŒΉπŒ²πƒ/naurwigs ); and for Administrator, please see this page, User:Sajasazi/nΓ©ologismes, I think it would fit better as Aiministrarmos
I also think it would be better to use haubigamaimbrana instead of haubigaseido, as all the other articles are named maimbrana

Hello! I`ve got one request for you. I`m from Poland and I collect words in various languages and now I`m looking for word "sugar" in other languages, but I can`t find this word in Gothic language and I`ve got counterparts of this word in Japanese, Ahmaric, Thai, Georgian and Chinese, so can you write me what is "sugar" in Gothic language? I`ve got this word in 240 languages and this is very important for me! Thank you very much

Please send me it for my mail or for my talk in Polish Wikipedia 83.22.251.125 21:12, 14 January 2006 (U.T.C.)

Now stop it reverting all my editsΒ ! You come on this wiki once a month only to revert what I've done during itΒ ! -- Sajasazi 15:42, 14 March 2006 (UTC)

Most people that come on this wiki can't read the gothic script. So it is more logic to translate the interface with latin alphabet so that anyone can read. -- Sajasazi 10:24, 19 March 2006 (UTC)

Gothic MediaWiki messages imported into Betawiki[𐌹𐌽𐌼𐌰𐌹𐌳𐌴𐌹]

Hi Node ue. I see that you have contributed to the messages in the namespace MediaWiki. Thank you for that. As Gothic did not yet have any generic messages in MediaWiki (only on this wiki), we imported the messages from Special:Allmessages into betawiki:. Betawiki also supports the translation of messages for 117 extensions, with over 1,600 messages. I would like to invite you to join the Betawiki community and help improve MediaWiki localisation for the languages you are able to contribute to.

If you have any further questions, please let me know on my talk page on Betawiki. We will try and assist you as much as possible. You can also find us on the Freenode IRC network in the channel #mediawiki-i18n where we would be happy to help you get started.

Thank you very much for your attention and I do hope to see you on Betawiki soon! Cheers! Siebrand@Betawiki 00:16, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

I've dropped a line at meta:Wikimedia_Forum#Gothic_script_problems asking for help with implementing a transliterator for the Gothic Wikipedia similar to the one used on the Serbian and Chinese ones. Your input there, as a local administrator, would be appreciated. +πŒ·πŒ΄πŒΊπƒπŒ°πŒ²π‰πŒ½ ·𐌰· (t) 09:50, 1 Fruma Jiuleis 2008 (UTC)

1) I still get warned when somebody changes my talk page, but I stopped contributing long ago. No more time enough. 2) Actually, I could never see Wulfila's script properly until I left away Windows for Linux. Since then, I've had no problem. My default font is "DejaVu". I hope you'll be able to find it, but I can't promise, because "Deja Vu" is a very common sentence in French.

It seems that you are a bit lonely hereΒ ;-) Would you approve me as extra help (bureaucrat and sysop) on :gotΒ ? At this moment, there is almost no one who controls the site. Regards | CartoonistHenning 18:03, 4 WeinmenoΓΎs 2010 (UTC)

Just to take care of the project. I'm also working on Unsaiklopedia.org, where I already have some experiences of the language (however I don't write it all correctly). I hope I can do the best for the project | CartoonistHenning 11:56, 6 WeinmenoΓΎs 2010 (UTC)

Hi, I should really need the rights now. I want to add some things in MediaWiki:Edittools and want to delete a redirect I created. It would be very usefull to me to edit here, as I want to come here regulary (then I don't have to ask you for every admin job). I won't abuse the rights | CartoonistHenning 14:19, 10 π…πŒ΄πŒΉπŒ½πŒΌπŒ΄πŒ½π‰πŒΈπƒ 2010 (UTC)

It's marked with {{delete}}. I have been desysoped on Unsaiklopedia a time ago without a reason and I can't edit the main page anymore. If I could, I would improve the "Gothic" there | CartoonistHenning 18:38, 11 π…πŒ΄πŒΉπŒ½πŒΌπŒ΄πŒ½π‰πŒΈπƒ 2010 (UTC)
Well, my "Gothic" is in progress. I have a grammar book for Gothic which I have used the last time. Maybe it's different from the Gothic you expect me to write. But anyway, I won't spend anymore time on writing here. Btw there was no reason for desysoping me. The admin said 'for micing down some good 'translations' in a edit summary. That action was the only edit he did in years... Now you do more or less the same: sending me away because I'm too bad in Gothic (in stead of improving it and showing me how to write correctly). Nice community this wiki has... Good luck with finding other interested people | CartoonistHenning 13:42, 12 π…πŒ΄πŒΉπŒ½πŒΌπŒ΄πŒ½π‰πŒΈπƒ 2010 (UTC)
PS: Who is that 'our/we'? "Please do not write anything for our encyclopedia until you've learned to write real Gothic."
Okay, it's the Swedish dialect I wrote. Sorry, I was confused | CartoonistHenning 21:40, 12 π…πŒ΄πŒΉπŒ½πŒΌπŒ΄πŒ½π‰πŒΈπƒ 2010 (UTC)

Your administrator status on the Gothic Wikipedia[𐌹𐌽𐌼𐌰𐌹𐌳𐌴𐌹]

Hello. A policy regarding the removal of "advanced rights" (administrator, bureaucrat, etc.) was adopted by community consensus in 2013. According to this policy, the stewards are reviewing activity on wikis with no inactivity policy.

You meet the inactivity criteria (no edits and no log actions for 2 years) on the wiki listed above. Since that wiki does not have its own rights review process, the global one applies.

If you want to keep your rights, you should inform the community of the wiki about the fact that the stewards have sent you this information about your inactivity. If the community has a discussion about it and then wants you to keep your rights, please contact the stewards at m:Stewards' noticeboard, and link to the discussion of the local community, where they express their wish to continue to maintain the rights.

If you wish to resign your rights, you can reply here or request removal of your rights on Meta.

If there is no response at all after approximately one month, stewards will proceed to remove your administrator and/or bureaucrat rights. In ambiguous cases, stewards will evaluate the responses and will refer a decision back to the local community for their comment and review. If you have any questions, please contact the stewards.
